Who would've guessed that a cancer recovery blog would go down as great literature! I especially enjoyed this chapter because SARAH GOT SPRUNG! I think what I love most though is knowing that through this shitty experience, Sarah, you are surrounded by family and folks who get you and understand what you need for recovery! I'll miss ghost scribe Kevin, but knowing you'll feel good enough to write makes its worth it. What an odyssey- you are strong, hang in there. Can't wait to see you taking deep breathes in the land of minimal oxygen...much love, Janet

This improvement is wonderful on all counts. Your report card is not only an A+ but you scored pillows to boot!

Enjoy your austere lounge chair while getting well enough to kick it to the side.

Hooray! Hooray! Hooray! So glad to get this in writing along with all the details. In the picture I thought the chair was making Sarah smile--but probably it's the homecoming. Makes me smile in a big way!!! Thanks Kevin for all of these posts.

There was such a seemingly long period between posts that we were concerned. But this news and Kevin's humorous insights and storytelling have lifted our spirits. So glad to hear!

This is wonderful news. I especially enjoyed the great hospital pillow heist story. Thank you, Kevin for being Sarah's ghost writer to keep us up to date. Love to Sarah with well wishes for continued healing.

I love the little "Get Your Sh!t Together Notepad" laying on the table next to you. Although, hopefully it wasn't a Get Well gift! 🤨

I am so glad to hear of all of the good news. I am so glad to hear that it sounds like you received highly attentive care at MD Anderson, that left no stone unturned.

I am heartened, as well, that you are out of the hospital and one more step closer to being home. You are missed! 💖

Congratulations on your release, Sarah! Always easier to recover at home (well, temporary home) than in a hospital. Here's wishing you an ongoing positive trend. And thank you to Kevin for doing such a great job on updates!
